Fit Rite

   Fit Rite is a minority owned business specializing in medical grade compression hosiery. In July of 2007 Fit Rite contacted Triad Packaging in need of retail packaging. Fit Rite was presented with a huge opportunity from BI-LO to sell and showcase their product in the retail merchandising environment. At this point the product was being packaged and sold in plastic bags with a printed insert and lacked the necessary components of retail packaging. BI-LO was very interested in the compression hosiery product but required more sophisticated packaging for the retail environment. Triad’s Clint Estep, Design/Sales Project Manager, and Tina Hogue, Marketing Manager, were given the task of totally overhauling the Fit Rite design, graphics, and branding. “I was extremely excited for the opportunity to work with Fit Rite and BI-LO on this project” says Clint. “This was a huge step forward for Triad in showing our ability to compete and establish branding in a large retail environment”. In less than one month Triad fully designed 9 different product packages, including mock-ups, along with header and side panel art for the retail display. Fit Rite presented the display to BI-LO and it was an instant success. The Marketing Director for BI-LO could not believe the product was “retail ready” in less than a month. From there came the agreement for Fit Rite to sell their product in over 140 BI-LO stores.
